हिन्द देश निवासियों को गणतंत्र दिवस की शुभकामनाएं-२६/०१/२०२१

Today is the 72nd Republic Day and by 8.25 a.m I rushed to our Mar Theophilos College for the celebration. After the arrangements the official ceremony started with prayer.

Next Gibi Mam, Principal in-Charge hoisted our tri colour flag and gave the inaugural address. It was so comforting to view the fluttering of flag and flowers in the sky during hoisting. She talked about the history, struggles faced by our leaders and citizens. The complete removal of British rule was signified through the adoption of Indian Constitution. On 26 January 1950, our Indian Constitution was formed. India is known for its Unity in Diversity. Indians not even considering their religion, caste, gender, race altogether celebrate the day of 'पूर्ण स्वराज'. On that occasion, she also shared her experience of visiting Jallianwala Bagh, Rajpath (the place where tri-colour flag is hoisted) etc.

After her elaborate talk on the importance of celebrating Republic Day, pledge was taken. Pledge took me back to my school days. Later the Chairperson Roshni came up with a small talk. She reminded us the song ' We shall overcome'. Yes, we the human beings are overcoming the daily crisis infront of us especially the issues due to Corona virus. Every stormy night will be replaced by the bright, sunny day☀️. Always hope for the best and do your best that's all we can do for a better tomorrow.

                 Flag Hoisting Ceremony

After ceremony, Social Science department conducted a quiz. Before the quiz, I was ready to have the chocolate which college authorities provided. Meanwhile the first question came.

1) Who is the Father of Indian Constitution?                   Dr. B.R. Ambedkar ( startled with the question I suddenly raised my hand to answer)

For saying the correct answer I got a pen guys and that too from Gibi mam. She said it's a silver pen for you. Her words reminded me of my father🤗 who always carries his 'silver Parker pen' in his pocket, not letting me wander in my memories the second question came.

2) What was the duration in preparing Indian Constitution? 2 years 11 months 18 days.

Confused me started answering and guess what I got my next pen😃.

I was desperate after an exhaustive search of my picture with Gibi mam as I couldn't find it in our group 🥺🧐 And decided to capture this picture.

I was in cloud nine and was wondering what all to do in excitement. Maybe this was my first time in participating quiz and I'm so grateful to Almighty, MTTC authority and last but not the least to Social Science department who had conducted the programme & also giving us a cute pen in return🤩. Everyone was in a 'josh' to answer the questions and our Physical Science Department bagged many pens which made our Neena Mam so proud☺️. She also congratulated us later🤩. Nikhil gave the commands for the ceremony very elegantly. Today was the best Republic day which I have experienced. I'm so proud to be born in this great country.

" एक भारतीय होने के नाते देश और देशवासियों कि रक्षा हमारा कर्तव्य हैं। अपने आप के इस कर्तव्य से मुंह मत मोटना। सभी को एक ओर बार गणतंत्र दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं।" 🇮🇳
