After late night discussion, both(Fathima and me) prepared the script for the programme. Joju Sir, Neena Mam and Shalini Mam guided us in writing the script. We reached a bit early at college and practised once. After all the arrangements being done at the dias, the guest Dr. J Prasad was invited to the programme.

 The official programme started with an Inter religious prayer and Holy books( Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Quran) was read. Later our Bursar, Fr. Thomas Kayyalackal delivered the Blessing speech. Next our Principal Dr. K.Y. Benedict called upon for introductory talk.

Dr. J Prasad was invited for the Veteran talk on Teacher Education in a Changing World. He is the Director of SCERT, Kerala and also the former Vice-chancellor of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady & Kerala Kalamandalam. He is such an eminent personality, lots of commendable activities were done under his leadership during Covid 19 pandemic. The function dispersed with College Anthem.


After the function, tea ☕ and snacks were provided. I went back to my P.S studio to catch up with my buddies. Today was the first Saree day at MTTC, everyone looked gorgeous in that outfit, captured lots of pictures. Then we started to practise for talent hunt in saree. Meanwhile, my Amma and Neena Mam came to class after the PTA meeting. Maybe this is the first time Amma has come to watch me before mic 🎤 live. It was happy (no) exciting moment for me. She was elected as one of the members of the Executive group.

After lunch, we had Ancy mam's class and later the talent hunt of MEd students were exhibited. It was a good performance and their team work could be evidently seen.

With God's grace, the function was grand success and I was so happy to be a part of it. Also nervous 😨 about tomorrow's performance.

 After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. "The mediocre tells.. The good teacher explains..The superior teacher demonstrates..The great teacher inspires.." During Lunch break, we practised dance💃 for tomorrow's programme...

Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web. Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web.  Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them.
