"Develop an Attitude of Gratitude"

Today was my birthday🎂. I was so happy to receive lots of messages and phone calls of my loved ones on my special day. I was extremely happy and got ready for the college. After the prayer at Chapel, I reached P.S Studio and everyone sang Birthday song for me.

Then we went for Maya mam's class. She discussed about Cultural diffusion, Enculturation, Acculturation, Cultural Inertia- its reasons, Sanskritization and Role of Education with regard to culture.

Cultural diffusion means of accepting cultural pattern consciously or unconsciously from other Nations or within the nation. Enculturation is the process by which people learn the requirements of their surrounding culture, actual values and behaviour appropriate in that culture. Whereas Acculturation is the process of cultural and psychological change by accepting new cultural pattern. 

Also Cultural inertia reinforces old habits thereby making transformation of society difficult. One of the reasons of cultural inertia is that religion acts against social reformation.Sanskritization refers to the process of social change in India that is lower caste seek upward mobility by adopting the rituals and practices of the upper or dominant caste.

Later in Benedict sir's class, he rewinded the skill of questioning and explained the skill of Explanation. The main purpose of the skill of questioning is to streamline the thoughts in children before them. During the afternoon session, there was practice session for the Union inauguration function.

We dispersed, after some purchase I reached my home. To my surprise, my bestie(whose bday was on March 17) visited me. She brought chocolates for me. I was so happy to see her and after some chit chat, we cut the cake together. Also my mother made a special dish for me. I was so happy 😊 on that day. Yet another beautiful birthday passed by with a set of memories.
