The NAAC Visit

The third cycle of NAAC visit was scheduled on 14th and 15th December. We did all the arrangements prior to the visit through working Saturday and Sunday. Eventhough it was fun to decorate the class,the cleaning and decorating process were tiring. 

On 14th December, the NAAC team of four members visited us and had an interaction with students of each department and faculty members. They observed, examined and evaluated the college premises, working of institution etc. I was scared about the result of the hardwork, patience exhibited by us. Everything went well and after the dance practice we disperse from the campus.

 After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web. Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web.  Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them.
