Last academic day of April

Joju Sir handled the first hour and the students of Malayalam department conducted the seminar on the topics CIET, SCERT, EDUSAT, SAMAGRA, KITE VICTERS etc. Maya Mam handled the second hour from 11.30 a.m. and the students of Social Science department conducted the seminar. They discussed about the the art, culture, tradition etc. which existed in the ancient era.

World Dance Day💃🔥🌼

World dance day wishes to all. Me and my besties at Ramoji Film City (2017) posing in the style of statues. Today there was P.E period and joined the G-meet at 11.15 a.m. George Sir taught us 'Padmasana' and before there was warming up session also.  During the warm up session, joints of legs were given importance. It was a superb session and it ended with 'Shavasana'.  Nisarga Union launched the dance video of the students as it was World Dance Day in youtube at 8 p.m. I also danced my best. The day of Compering for PF club🎤

Neena mam handled the first hour. She discussed the other terms included in the content analysis. Also processed skills and it's classification were also discussed. At 11 a.m. the class came to an end.  From 11.30 a.m. to 1p.m., it was Maya Mam's period. Students from P.S. department took their seminar portions.  Today is World day for health and safety at work place and Planning forum club has conducted a webinar. The chief guest was Dr. Hema Francis who is the Medical Officer at IISER and Indian medical association Nedumangad branch secretary. I got an opportunity to compere for the function and it was a delightful experience for me. She gave instructions that must be obeyed when we are at work place in Covid pandemic condition. 27/04/2021- Seminar Day with Rasputin🌼🌟💕

Today Physical Science department conducted the seminar on Maya mam's hour. As the first roll number I was pretty much nervous and at 8:45 a.m. we did a trial G-meet. At 10:00 a.m. the class started with my presentation and my topic was "Role of education in social change." Yes, education has a bigger role in making a change in the society we live. I listed out 7 points like:  1) Assistance in adopting social change 2) Overcoming the resistance to change 3) Analysis of change  4) Emergence of new changes 5) Leadership in social change  6) Educating the people of social change 7) Advances in the spear of knowledge and briefly explained about each point. I was so much relieved after my seminar and the four more students conducted seminar. At 11 a.m. the class came to an end.  In accordance with the World Veterinary day the Natural Science department conducted a photographic competition yesterday and I ensured my participation in it. It was a snap of me with a newborn kitten. 🐾🐈 She was lovely and cooperated with me in taking pictures. The first day of the last week of April started with Neena Mam's class. Today she discussed about McCormack and Yager Taxonomy (1989). Also contact analysis was done that is pedagogically  significant components like symbol, term, facts were discussed. She helped us in understanding the difference between each terms.  We typed some examples for funnier facts in the chat box and with that the class came to an end. The Malayalam department completed their seminar on Maya mam's period. The conducted a superb seminar on the topic "Violence against women". 23/04/2021- National Integration🇮🇳🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭👫

 Maya mam's class started at 10:00 a.m. and today she discussed about National Integration .  The word National integration portrays feelings in us towards Nation. It is the feeling of oneness. An emotional integration can be seen within the nation. Later she discussed about the factors that affect integration and the ways National integration can be inculcated through education in students. The class was in a discussion mode and everyone was in active mode. Some of the factors that affect integration are caste system, illiteracy, political factors, economic inequality, languages religion region food etc.  The different ways in which the feeling of national integration can be inculcated through education are are:  Teaching Social science(History & Geography) in schools, singing National Anthem, taking pledge. Joju Sir handled the first hour and the students of English department completed their seminar topics. The overuse of computer and other electronic appliances causes different problems and it's remedies were discussed.  During the second period, Ancy mam taught about our first President, S.Radhakrishnan and great thinker Swami Vivekananda. The Eco club of MTTC conducted a contest and I ensured my participation in it.   Hold on the one's which provides Oxygen(O2) and Ozone (O3). At 6.30 p.m. the Nisarga Union conducted a seminar in connection with National Civil Service Day celebration. Adv. Jyothi Vijaya Kumar was the chief guest and I could listen to a great talk from an eminent personality.  Looking forward to more such webinars.

21/04/21- Guildford's Structure of Intellect Model😌

The students of English department conducted the seminar in the first period. Giby Mam monitored the class. The topic was Guilford Structure of Intellect Model and Giby Mam suggested to be attentive as topic is new for us. Joy Paul Guilford was an American psycologist who was remembered for Psycho-metric studies of human intelligence and creativity. He proposed the Structure of Intellect Model and used a 3 dimensional cubical model to explain it.The students explained about the three dimensions which are: Operations, Contents, Products. OPERATIONAL DIMENSION: It refers to the intellectual activities or mental process used by a person. CONTENT DIMENSION: Operations are applied on the content . PRODUCT DIMENSION: It is the result of operating on the content. They are the bits of knowledge that we acquire from an external stimuli. At 10.45 a.m. class came to an end. Ancy mam handled the first hour and she discussed ' TAGORE '- renowned poet, painter, composer, philosopher etc.                Also known as "Bard Of Bengal" He is the first Non European Nobel Laureate for his work Gitanjali. He established Vishwa Bharati on 22nd September 1921. Also his philosophy, Aims of education, Curriculum, Discipline, Role of teacher was explained. He gave an important role to Teachers. The second period was Physical Education and George Sir handled that. He enquired about our well being and talked about the importance of being fit during this Covid pandemic.  Later discussed about the aim, objective, need and importance of Physical Education.  Joju Sir monitored the third period. Anusha continued with the topic CAI. Gayathri and Mahima took the most relevant topic which is Child Abuse in Social Network platforms. "Working of Psycho motor domain"

The first period was optional and was handled by our Neena mam. She started the class with a revision of topics taught on last class. We responded to her questions. Today she taught the third domain which is Psycho motor domain (action based) . These functions are performed by individuals as a result of neuro-muscular activit y. There are five sub categories and they are: 1) Imitation 2) Manipulation 3) Precision 4) Articulation 5) Naturalisation Neena Mam told different examples for better understanding of the concept. During the second hour, students of English department presented seminars on the topics Computer Managed Instructions (CMI) and Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) . Joju Sir monitored the whole seminar. It was a great opportunity to understand different concepts which were unfamiliar to me.

Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web. Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web.  Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them. Web 4.0 is a new evolution of web paradigm based on multiple models, technologies and social relationships. It will help people have a digital alter. It is an open, linked and intelligent web. Web 4.0 is also known as a symbiotic web as it possess mind controlled interface. Neena mam handled the first hour. During the class, she discussed Taxonomy of Instructional objectives. Original Taxonomy- Bloom - 1956 It is a way of distinguishing the fundamental questions within the education system.  It divides the educational objectives into three domains: Cognitive, Affective and Psycho motor. Bloom's taxonomy is considered to be a foundational and essential element within educational community. Later she discussed the Cognitive and Affective domain and asked us to prepare the notes. Giby Mam handled the second period and class started with prayer song by Georgia. After a long gap, we are back to Neena Mam's class. The class duration was from 9.30 to 11 a.m. Neena Mam discussed the works that should be completed during the first semester. She enquired individually about the pending works that should be done by us. Also revised the topics which she taught earlier. She discussed the terms like Aim, Goal, Objective inaccordance to education. Education is purposeful and and it's concerns with outcomes that are expressed at several levels. Aim: the most general level. Goals: reflect the purpose with outcomes in mind. Objectives: reflect the most specific levels of educational outcomes. " Before you teach your students, you must learn your students."  Benedict Sir handled the second hour from 11.30-1p.m. He discussed the subskills "Classroom Management" and "Closure". Competency = Skill + Attitude

⭐⭐Second day of Online Class

Ancy mam handled the first hour of online class. It was her class after a long break.  The class started with a silent prayer. She taught us about Plato, a philosopher, mathematician in Greece.  He found 'ACADEMY' in Athens around 388 B.C. which was the first institution of higher learning in Western world. In the Academy, subjects like Arts, Science and Literature was taught. He used Games as an important medium of Education. Books are: The Republic (master piece), The Laws, The Statesmen. His Philosophy was known as Theory Of Ideas. Later Mam discussed about Objectives, Aims, Features of Education. During the Optional hour, Neena mam gave us work to complete. With that the second day of online class came to an end.

After an interval of seven days, I am back together with all through Google meet. Before class time, phone got active with the pop up message of Joju sir's G-meet link. The class was from 9 -10.15 a.m. The students of Natural Science department took seminar. Parvathy and Ashna took class on E- learning. Subin and Fathima discussed about the Steps in e- content writing. Ancy discussed about the SWAYAM learning app. All of them did a superb job in making us understand different topics. After an interval of 10 minutes, I joined Giby Mam's class. Class started with prayer by Josena. The message portrayed through the prayer song is that Life is a cycle. Students gave their perception about the message. Yes, different individual do possess different identity and view points. Giby Mam stressed on the point that our greatest wealth is our Empowered personality . For that we must be physically and mentally in control.
