Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics.

Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web.

Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web. 

Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them.

Web 4.0 is a new evolution of web paradigm based on multiple models, technologies and social relationships. It will help people have a digital alter. It is an open, linked and intelligent web. Web 4.0 is also known as a symbiotic web as it possess mind controlled interface.

Computer assisted instruction is a self learning technique usually offline or online involving the interaction of the student with the programmed instructions. It uses a combination of text and graphics. There are 5 methods of CAI and those are Drill and practice, Tutorial, Simulation, Games, Problem solving and Discovery.

In the second period, Ancy mam discussed about Mahatma Gandhi: Father of our Nation.

His philosophy of life has four elements 
Truth 
Non-violence 
Fearlessness 
Satyagraha. 

Gandhiji emphasis on the overall development of the three H's: Head, Heart and Hand.
He suggested craft centered curriculum and craft was to be the starting point of all subjects. 
The subjects in the curriculum are Mother tongue, Arithmetic, Social science, Art, Music, Domestic science for girls, Spinning.

Self discipline emerged from a life of self restraint, fearlessness, utility and self sacrifice. Also social discipline will come from craft based activities.

Wardha Scheme of education is his major contribution and in this free and compulsory education was given upto the age of 14 years. Self-reliance will be the aim of education.

Learning = Terminal behaviour - Entry behaviour-27/01/2021

 After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. "The mediocre tells.. The good teacher explains..The superior teacher demonstrates..The great teacher inspires.." During Lunch break, we practised dance💃 for tomorrow's programme...
