💜The Memoir of BSS💖

I was introduced into the world of Breakthrough Science Society by Neena Miss. I was a volunteer for the webinars conducted by the group. Those webinars were mainly for school students.I was a member of Rosalind Franklin group under the mentorship of Medha Ma'am.In our groups, there was six students and I was amazed with the doubts they asked.I got opportunity to personally enquire about the camp from them. I totally loved the experience. Also got opportunity to listen to the talks of eminent personalities.It was just wonder. Some of the screenshots which I captured during the class. The camp started from 29 May 2021 to 13 June 2021 which consists of 12 sessions. I got an opportunity to do Vote of Thanks on 30.5.2021 for the webinar taken by Dr. K. M. Virtual Tour to "International Space Station" 🌌🌼

VIRTUAL TOUR TO ISS: At 6.30 p.m., the members of P.S. department assembled in the G-meet. Shilpa Mary and Lekshmi did the Socratic dialogue part of KCF (Kerala Curriculum Framework). They took a great effort☺️. After that we were ready for the virtual tour and do you guys know where we went? Yes, our trip was to ISS, Hurray I was so excited.😆 Neena Ma'am played a youtube video which portrayed the description of ISS given by Sunita Williams.  When I saw Sunita Williams, I remembered Kalpana Chawla as I have played her role during Miss St.Johns Competition. I was drawn back to those days. I totally loved the way Sunita Williams presented each and every details about International Space Station. SOCRATIC DIALOGUE📖😄🎤🎙️

After the two periods, the link for the third period popped up at 11 a.m.  "The whole purpose of Education is to turn mirrors into windows."-Sydney Harris. Today Gayathry and I were assigned to do Socratic dialogue session on National Curriculum Framework- 2005 (NCF). We conducted a practice session from 7.45 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Eventhough we prepared well for the session, I was tensed. From 11.15 a.m. ,we started the session. The Aims, Objectives, Perspectives etc. were discussed through dialogues.  We ❤️💛 The main reasons for the establishment of NCF are: Textbooks, Workbook, Incomprehension, Information Overload ,Tests and Examination. Curriculum framework for school education attempts at visualizing reorientation of the system to keep the educational effort in step with the changing times.  The main purpose is to make education comparable across the country in qualitative terms and making it as a means of ensuring national integration without compromising on country's ...

MALALA DAY -July 12

 During the first hour Joju Sir continued with the second semester topic "different Assessment methods" (Multiple choice, Essay writing etc). Maya Ma'am assigned us to write on 'Barriers of Communication'. Communication is a process of exchange of information, ideas, thoughts, emotions and feelings. There are different barriers in communication: Linguistic barrier, Physical barriers, Emotional and psychological barriers, Gender barriers. Graffiti Board During the optional hour, the members of P.S. department created a Graffiti board under the guidance of our mentor Neena Ma'am. We discussed the points on the topic Sustainable development. After the class hour, I went through different articles and did some trial quizzes about Malala to take part in the quiz conducted on Malala Day. My score was (15/20) and the results were published. 🏆CAREER GUIDANCE #COMPERING🎙️💜

I got an opportunity to compere for the webinar on Career Guidance- (after BEd what to do? ) which was organised by MEd faculty.  I thank the Almighty God for giving these chances for my upliftment. The programme started at 10 a.m. It was a superb session and felt lucky to be a part of it. Teachers appreciated Fathima and me for doing the compering session. YOGA TEST - July 2

Giby Ma'am handled the first hour. She discussed about the disorders of perception. During the second hour, Neena Ma'am discussed the remaining topics of Semester 1. Maya Ma'am handled the third hour. She discussed about the Vedic education which was during 3000 BC to 650 A.D. During that time, the curriculum was based on the Vedas which are Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, Atharva Veda. Veda vyasa edited the vedic mantras into these four books.  Gurukula system of education prevailed during the vedic education period. Guru was considered as a teacher who takes us from darkness to light. The objectives of Gurukula system was : self-control, development of character, social awareness, integral development of personality, propagation of purity, preservation of knowledge and culture.  After her class, I got ready for the yoga test conducted by George sir. We have to do 4 yogasanas(Padmasana,Naukasana, Shalabhasana and Dhanurasana)  before him through whatsapp video call. The...
