After the two periods, the link for the third period popped up at 11 a.m.
"The whole purpose of Education is to turn mirrors into windows."-Sydney Harris.
Today Gayathry and I were assigned to do Socratic dialogue session on National Curriculum Framework- 2005 (NCF). We conducted a practice session from 7.45 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Eventhough we prepared well for the session, I was tensed. From 11.15 a.m. ,we started the session. The Aims, Objectives, Perspectives etc. were discussed through dialogues.

The main reasons for the establishment of NCF are: Textbooks, Workbook, Incomprehension, Information Overload ,Tests and Examination. Curriculum framework for school education attempts at visualizing reorientation of the system to keep the educational effort in step with the changing times.
The main purpose is to make education comparable across the country in qualitative terms and making it as a means of ensuring national integration without compromising on country's pluralistic character.

I loved the part where we recited poems in Malayalam and Hindi for visualising an issue. I recited the Hindi poem from Std 1. Those lines are:
"छह साल की छोकरी, भरकर लाई टोकरी।
टोकरी में आम हैं, नहीं बताती दाम है।
दिखा- दिखाकर टोकरी, हमें बुलाती छोकरी।"
After the session, there was also a Q & A session. We did our best to answer the questions. I loved our performance as we enjoyed it. It was a great experience for me as Socratic dialogue is done for the first time. I express my gratitude towards our mentor Neena Ma'am for providing us this great opportunity.
Also I enjoyed grouping up with Gayathry who has become a special friend of mine. Looking forward to work with her.☺️😆🤭
