Happy Birthday to Gopika aka Khajangi💸😂🎂💰

Morning itself performed the act of borrowing Saree from Amma to look gorgeous 🤭on the Saree day. Giby Mam discussed about the School related factors, Socio-economic status and Economic status which are the variables of learning. Every aspect has an impact in the upcoming future of a child. 
Maya Mam started the discussion on Pragmatism. Pragma means action and was originated in USA. Father of Pragmatism is William James.
John Dewey popularised pragmatism. 

Joju Sir handled the class on the topic "Principles of Teaching Aid Construction".


25/02/2021- Thursday:

Today marked the beginning of teaching at micro level. Being the first roll number in class, I'm provided with a responsibility😂 to take class first. I opted the Skill of Pupil Participation and it was another better experience for me. We were asked to teach on a topic for 5 minutes using the subskills in each of the Skill. 


Gopika, Renju and Sandra were my students and they responded greatly. I took class on Periodic table and started the history of classification by different scientists. I also provided some activity for the active participation of pupils. After the class there was a criticism session in which 3 of my classmates and Neena Mam came forward to speak. Taking the criticisms into consideration, I also did a reteaching session and audience were impressed with my teaching.

Athira did the micro teaching on the skill of blackboard writing. During the afternoon session; Gopika, Kavya and Gayathry conducted seminars on eminent scientists. Everyone did well and the day came to an end.



26/02/2021- Friday:

The last working day of February arrived with pleasant morning. Since there was camp going on for seniors, we had to change our class room to seminar hall. 
The rest of the students in the class conducted seminars and did the microteaching Skills which they have opted. As my first seminar and micro teaching was done, I took the role of student, video grapher and observer also. 
 Everyone did their part so graciously and the day came to an end.

  23/02/2021-Tuesday:  "Memory is the treasure house of the minds where in the monuments there of are kept and preserved.- Thomas Fuller" Due to strike of public transport, majority of MTTC students(me too) couldn't attend the class.  Also it's been a half year( 23.08.2020 ) in celebrating the Spinster party🥳 of my bestie Arsha💜🌼  Let me recollect the memories of that day.  After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. "The mediocre tells.. The good teacher explains..The superior teacher demonstrates..The great teacher inspires.." During Lunch break, we practised dance💃 for tomorrow's programme...

Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web. Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web.  Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them.
