Day 2- June 2🌼🌼

The second day started with Joju sir's class. He presented the important points on the topic "Teacher in the digital era".
"Technology wouldn't replace teachers, but teachers who don't use technology will soon be replaced"- Dr. Ray Clifford
 Changing roles of teachers like oral persenter to multimedia persenter, teacher is not omniscient, motivator, blogger, whole-brain teacher etc. And other new competencies that the teacher should adopt was also discussed.

Neena Ma'am handled the second hour. Reeba conducted her seminar on the topic 'Inter dépendance of teaching and learning'. Later Mentor shared the points on Cognitivism( principles, educational implications). An idea about Behaviourism, Cognitivism and Constructivism was given.

  23/02/2021-Tuesday:  "Memory is the treasure house of the minds where in the monuments there of are kept and preserved.- Thomas Fuller" Due to strike of public transport, majority of MTTC students(me too) couldn't attend the class.  Also it's been a half year( 23.08.2020 ) in celebrating the Spinster party🥳 of my bestie Arsha💜🌼  Let me recollect the memories of that day.  After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. "The mediocre tells.. The good teacher explains..The superior teacher demonstrates..The great teacher inspires.." During Lunch break, we practised dance💃 for tomorrow's programme...

Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web. Web 2.0 is an interactive and the social web enabling collaboration between users. It is a read and write web.  Web 3.0: change both how websites are made and have people interact with them. Web 4.0 is a new evolution of web paradigm based on multiple models, technologies and social relationships. It will help people have a digital alter. It is an open, linked and intelligent web.
