Euphoria-Day 2

 Day-02 : 15.03.2022

The second day started with the campus news conducted by Pavithram group at 9:30 a.m. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the news hour. After that, all the three groups started preparing various placards for the procession to be conducted on Thursday.

The forenoon session was handled by Mr Reny Antony Sir,( Kerala State Child Right Commission member) from 10:45 a.m. He gave awareness about the topic "Child Laws and Protection of Child Rights''. We came across various acts which protect the children from vulnerabilities present in the society.

Often children are the group who are affected and suffered due to the happenings in the society. So, it is really important to strengthen the laws thereby protecting the perimeters of security around a child. As a future teacher, it is very much essential for us to understand the situation of each child and protect them when needed. Reny Sir discussed and made us familiarize with the various committees that work for the care and protection of children in need. It was an enriching session for all of us.

The afternoon session was handled by Vinod Vikramadithyan Sir (Sub Inspector of Police Department) from 1:30 p.m. Vinod Sir is a former student of MTTC. He gave us an awareness about the drug abuse in students. Various drugs used by students which are very harmful for their well being were introduced. He continued the class by connecting various life incidents during his 6 year career which enabled us to maintain the concentration level.

He also provided us with various factors that must be taken care of as a teacher. The health of children will deteriorate due to the usage of drugs. As a teacher, we must understand changes occurring in every child before us as far as possible. The real gems to mould a nation are before us so it's our prime responsibility to work for the well being and protection. I personally loved the session handled by Vinod Sir.
