1st Day @ GGHSS Kanyakulangara

 The first day at Kanyakulangara was effective. I tried to understand the duties, time schedules and rules of the school. Eventhough I didn't have class to handle, got a substitution hour in 8C. I utilised the hour to create a rapport with the students.

I got opportunity to distribute noon meals for students. Visited the concerned teacher and discussed about class etiquette, portions to be taken and record signing. It was a fine day.

During the second period, I had a Chemistry class in 8C. I received an opportunity to handle the substitution period. We had a meeting with the Headmaster Sri.Gopakumar regarding to the rules and regulations while handling the class. I done the noon meal distribution duty. I took an initiative to build rapport with students of 8C. "Word Game" helped the students the think productively. I was astonished by hearing the words from the students during the game. I completed the planned and unplanned tasks effectively on time.

I had a meeting with my concerned teacher Sindhu ma'am regarding the portions to be taken. I clarified my doubts about the lesson template. Participated in the noon meal distribution. I got a substitution hour in 8C. To polish the vocabulary of students Word Games was played.It was an emergency tasks for me.

 After yesterday's glorious event, we are back to offline classes. After the prayer, it was optional period. Neena miss entered the class and asked about our well being. She taught different phases of teaching profession. And also made us write about the best teacher whom I have met. Roshan was called out to read the assigned work. Also at the end of class Shilpa, Lekshmi, Athira and I were congratulated by our classmates for winning pens yesterday. Giby Mam handled second hour. She taught three mental systems and they are : Id, Ego, Super Ego . She told a hilarious incident to illustrate about the mental systems. It was so much fun to hear her experiences, stories etc.  Later Maya Mam took the third hour. She taught about the qualities, skills and competencies that a teacher should possess. Joju Sir handled the first hour. The students of English department took their seminar portions. Web 3.0, Web 4.0 and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) were the topics. They did a superb job in helping us understand these topics. Web 1.0: staffing information provider where people read websites but rarely interacted with them. Web 1.0 is a read only web.
